Visit of President Ir. Joko Widodo and Family at BXSea.

On Sunday (January 21, 2024) at around 12:15 PM local time, we had a very special visitor, the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Ir. Joko Widodo, along with his family, visiting the educational attraction, Oceanarium BXSea, at Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall 2, South Tangerang City, Banten Province. Alongside Mrs. Iriana, Mr. Jokowi also brought his two grandchildren, Jan Ethes Srinarendra and La Lembah Manah. A total of 38 tickets were purchased by Mr. Jokowi and his entourage at our cashier.

Mr. Jokowi always held hands with his two grandchildren while touring the entire journey at BXSea. Jan Ethes was seen waving to other visitors at BXSea who called out to him. They also enjoyed the entire journey while taking several photos with other visitors.

Occasionally, Jan Ethes asked the Education Guide at BXSea about the various biotas present in BXSea, such as inquiring about the types of fish in the aquarium. One of the journeys that Mr. Jokowi and his family enjoyed for quite some time was the Exotic Fish Journey, where a group of adorable Cownose Rays enthusiastically performed whenever visitors approached. In addition, Mr. Jokowi and his family were also very impressed with the biotas in the Rainforest Journey, Shark Path, Mangrove Zone, and Jellyfish.

"Mr. Jokowi, along with his grandchildren and Mrs. Iriana, today became Seaventurers at BXSea. They seemed happy and excited to see the entire BXSea Journey," said BXSea Education Guide Isabell.

Mr. Jokowi and his family also appeared to thoroughly enjoy their time in the Sea Tunnel, which is the widest tunnel in Southeast Asia at 2.8 meters. Occasionally, Mr. Jokowi observed various fish in the BXSea Sea Tunnel. Later, he took the time to sit in the Sea Theatre to witness the special feeding time and interact with the divers in the Sea Theatre area.

Before leaving BXSea, Mr. Jokowi and his family took the opportunity to shop and buy various souvenirs available at the BXSea Official Store.
