Mission Sea Wonder: PKBSI Ventures into the World of BXSea Oceanarium for an Exciting Adventure!

Thursday, February 15, 2024, the Special Committee of PKBSI embarked on an epic journey into the wonders of the sea with a visit to BXSea Oceanarium. More than just a formal meeting, this journey became a meaningful and exciting tale, marking an important milestone in the PKBSI membership application process that touched the hearts.

In an enthusiastic entourage, Drh. Endah Rumiyati, not only the Regional Coordinator of DKI Jakarta, West Java, & Banten, but also the team leader who guided this adventure. Prof. Gono Semiadi, an expert in Organization, Law & Membership, along with talented members such as Ni Luh Putu Rischa Padmachanty, and Drh. Yus Anggoro from the Ethics & Animal Welfare Division, joined this journey with crucial roles.

BXSea Oceanarium has obtained official conservation permits from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and it is also the first aquarium in Indonesia to have the SIPJI Aquaria. Located in the heart of Bintaro Jaya, this 2.3-hectare aquarium is not just an educational and recreational destination but also a gateway that opens up insights for all layers of society regarding the captivating diversity of fauna.

BXSea officially became a member of PKBSI as of March 1, 2024. Great hopes are placed on BXSea Oceanarium to become a beacon of conservation and education missions that shine brighter. The beauty and wonders of the sea presented are expected not only to captivate the eyes but also to touch the hearts, stimulating awareness of the importance of preserving and protecting the sustainability of our environment.
