A Forever Bond: The Journey of the Humboldt Penguins from Peru–Chile Becomes a New Story at BXSea

Bintaro, October 18, 2025 – BXSea proudly announces the official launch of its newest journey attraction, “Penguin – A Forever Bond,” on Saturday, October 18, 2025. In this Penguin Journey, BXSea introduces a penguin habitat designed to closely resemble their natural environment, expanding BXSea’s mission to educate the Indonesian public about the richness of global biodiversity.

The launch event began with an inauguration ceremony led by BXSea Management under PT Jaya Real Property Tbk, followed by a special first feeding session with BXSea’s animal keepers and PT Jaya Real Property Tbk management. During this moment, visitors had the opportunity to witness the feeding process firsthand.

The Penguin Journey is designed with a cool atmosphere, featuring air and water temperatures adjusted to match the penguins’ native habitat. These Humboldt Penguins, originally from Peru and Chile, were bred by the conservation institution PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. The interior is dominated by rocky textures to provide comfort for the penguins, including a Rocky Coastal Terrain area that serves as a natural resting and nesting site. The exhibit also features a special Life Support System with precise temperature control and environmental management to replicate their natural habitat.

All five penguins at BXSea were granted by PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol’s Conservation Institution as part of their support for wildlife conservation, sustainability, and public education.
